Service & Maintenance
What Does Air Conditioning Service Cost?
Annual maintenance service from CZK 1,650 per indoor and outdoor unit.
Regular Maintenance Includes:
- Cleaning of filters and heat exchangers (coils) of indoor and outdoor units
- Functional performance check of the air conditioning system
- Diagnostics and operational parameter inspection
- Refrigerant circuit leak inspection
- Inspection of electrical connections, terminals, and wiring
- Voltage and current consumption check
- Condensate drain inspection
- Verification of proper remote-control operation
Regular maintenance does not include deep cleaning of the evaporator, fan wheel, or other components requiring complete disassembly of the unit.
Indicative Service Pricing
| Service Type | Price |
|---|---|
| Technician Hourly Rate | 700–1 100 CZK/hr |
| Fault Diagnosis | 800–2 000 CZK |
| Service Call | 1 500–2 500 CZK |
| Deep Cleaning | 2 500–5 000 CZK |
Service Call Includes:
- System diagnostics
- Error code inspection
- Fault identificatio
- Inspection of electrical circuits and connections
- Refrigerant circuit leak inspection
- Basic operational check of the air conditioning system
After the diagnosis, we will always explain the recommended solution and provide a repair quotation before any work begins.
Once the fault has been identified, we will recommend the most suitable repair solution and provide a clear cost estimate before any work is carried out.
Why Regular Maintenance?
Common Air Conditioning Problems
Optimal Performance
Regular maintenance keeps your air conditioning system operating at peak efficiency. Clean filters and the correct refrigerant level ensure maximum performance with lower energy consumption.
Energy and Cost Savings
Dirty or clogged components force the system to work harder, increasing electricity consumption. Regular servicing helps reduce operating costs and improve energy efficiency.
Prevention of Breakdowns
Routine inspections help identify minor faults before they develop into costly repairs or complete system failures.
Extended Equipment Lifespan
Just like a car, an air conditioning system lasts longer when properly maintained. Regular servicing reduces wear on critical components.
Improved Air Quality and Health
Clean filters and disinfection help reduce dust, allergens, bacteria, and mould, creating a healthier indoor environment.
Maintaining Warranty Coverage
Many manufacturers require regular maintenance to keep the product warranty valid.
Safe Operation
Regular servicing includes inspection of electrical and mechanical components, reducing the risk of faults, short circuits, and refrigerant leaks.
Air Conditioner Not Cooling
Cause: Low refrigerant level (leak), dirty filters, clogged evaporator coil, compressor failure.
Solution: Refrigerant recharge, filter and evaporator cleaning, compressor repair or replacement.
Air Conditioner Not Heating
Cause: Low refrigerant level, thermostat failure, incorrect settings, faulty heating components.
Solution: Refrigerant recharge, thermostat replacement, heating system repair.
Bad Smell from the Air Conditioner
Cause: Mould or bacteria in the filter or evaporator.
Solution: Cleaning or replacement of filters and professional disinfection.
Noisy Air Conditioner
Cause: Damaged fan, loose components, improper installation, worn motor.
Solution: Inspection and adjustment of the unit, fan or component replacement.
Indoor Unit Leaking Water
Cause: Blocked drain hose, clogged condensate drain, damaged drainage components.
Solution: Cleaning the drain system or repairing/replacing damaged parts.
Air Conditioner Won't Turn On
Cause: Power supply issues, faulty control board, damaged capacitor, blown fuse.
Solution: Electrical diagnostics and repair or replacement of faulty components.
Insufficient Airflow
Cause: Dirty or incorrectly installed filters, fan failure.
Solution: Cleaning or replacement of filters, fan repair.
Vibration and Irregular Operation
Cause: Uneven mounting of the outdoor unit, damaged or loose components.
Solution: Realignment and securing of the unit, replacement of damaged components.
